Steps for Applying Student Visa.
Step 1. Apply for Admission in College/Universities
There are 8 New Zealand Universities and 16 institutes of technology and polytechnics.
Documents Required
· All Educational Documents (10TH, 12TH, BACHELOR DEGREE)· Valid Passport
· IELTS with Minimum Overall Band Score 5.5 / PTE with Minimum Score in the Range of 43-50
Step 2. Offer Letter
We arrange an Offer letter of the Candidate for the suitable course in Any New Zealand Institution depending upon his previous Qualification and IELTS / PTE Score.
Step 3. Medical & PCC
Applicants, who intend to be in New Zealand for more than 6 months, must have undergone a TB Screening X ray.
All applicants who are above the age of 17 years and intend to stay in NZ for more than 2 years must provide their Police Clearance Certificate must be less than 6 months old at the time of submission.
Step 4 Tuition Fees & Expenses
The Candidate needs to show following funds cover tuition fees and living cost for the period of his stay in New Zealand. The Funds can be in any form as mentioned below and should be at least 6 months old.
1Year Tuition fee Undergraduate (NZD 19,000-25,000)
Post Graduate (NZD 25,000-35,000)
1 Year Living Expenses NZD 15000 per Year (FTS)
Step 5. Visa Filling
To Lodge the student Visa application, students need to provide the document according to the checklist. The Candidate has to make 2 DD’s. The 1st DD will be for Embassy fees and 2nd DD will be for VFS Global Services PVT. LTD.
All Educational Documents
· All Passport photocopies of all pages
· Medical (half or Full)
· All Financial Documents and Income tax returns for last 3 years
· Affidavit by self, Parents or all sponsor’s
· Offer letter
· Statement of Purpose
· Photograph (PP Size) in JPEG format
· If married, marriage registration certificate and photographs, CD’s, Marriage card.
· Student email id and student mobile no.
Step 6 Interview
Study in New Zealand visa Interview is an important step to follow before you can get final confirmation about a New Zealand student visa.
Step 7 FTS Fund transfer scheme
After receiving an AIP letter, student contact the ANZ bank to apply for an FTS account and transfer his funds. You need to provide your AIP letter and a copy of your passport to the ANZ. After your funds have been transferred to your FTS account, the ANZ sends you an email confirming that they have received the money. The bank also contacts INZ directly to confirm the funds transfer. On arrival in NZ, the applicant visits an ANZ bank and activates their account after which the bank releases funds on the prorated basis.
Step 8 Payment of Tution Fees
After the lodgment of visa application, and once you have received the Approval in Principle (AIP) of your visa from the immigration of New Zealand student will need to pay the 1st year tuition fees to the respective institute.
Step 9 Visa outcome
Once the student gets the visa approval he will be notified by mail and then student collect his passport and start planning his travel and accommodation in New Zealand.
Study and work
Students studying in New Zealand can work while studying. With a student visa, students can work 20 hours weekly during the study and full time during scheduled holidays. There are many part-time opportunities available in sectors like retail, hospitality, banking, finance etc. Some students find a part-time job in their specific university.
